24 Hour Drinking Law - Wrong?
The thought of people, who were aloud to drink 24 hours a day under the new November 2005 Licensing Act, would reduce the risk of become drunk as people no longer needed to squeezing an evening drinking into a few hours seems to be failing.  A survey, conducted at St Thomas’ A&E would suggest things are worst. During March 05, before the law changed, St Thomas’ admitted 80, alcohol related cases.  Come 06, after the 24 hour law was past

and admissions hit 250.  However this report arrives amongst mixed messages as other authorities in other areas report a decrease in alcohol-related violence and as a result a drop in alcohol A&E admissions.  The debate as to the November 2005 Licensing Act is right or wrong continues.
