"Walkies" Get's Competitive!
It’s been reported on The Times newspaper’s website there is a new craze set to sweep the nation... the part of the nation who have dogs anyway.  Canine Cross-Country, known as cani-cross, originated from dog sledge racing and used as a training tool for dogs not yet accustomed to the harness used by sledge drivers (“musher’s”) or during the snow less months of summer.  The dog, attached to the belt of the musher via a bungee cord runs ahead,


with the musher being pulled along as they go.  The sport, now competitive and covering a set number of kilometres, attracts people with all sorts of dogs, from Poodles to Labradors.  Click to read more on The Times website.
