Child Obesity & Family Life.
A report out today in the Journal of Obesity says children of middle class families with an income of £33,000 plus, are more likely to be over weight to obese than children of families with lower incomes.  The study, conducted on 13,000 children by the Institute of Child Health at University Collage London, and Great Ormond Street Hospital laid blame with both parents working and depriving the children of healthy food, relying on
time efficient,

convenience food at mealtime.  With obesity links to a lack of breast-feeding and time away from their mother as reasons for the weight problem – no connection was found between the child’s weight and the farther or mother’s partner.  In conclusion the report suggests a revert back to the days of stereotypical housewife and working dad in order for healthy children but in the 21st century where things are just not that simple anymore, Chit Chat asks: is there an answer?
